Project Title: Demonstration Project for Improving Accuracy and Efficiency of Fish Catch Reporting in Accordance with Fisheries Law Amendments

Project Overview: This project aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of fish catch reporting in accordance with recent amendments to fisheries laws. As part of this project, we are developing a system that utilizes satellite-derived sea surface temperature data to supplement operational log information. By introducing this system, we aim to replace the traditional manual process of fish catch reporting with a more accurate and efficient method. In particular, the use of sea surface temperature data will enable more precise recording of catch quantities and locations, reducing the burden on fishermen.

Additionally, this system is expected to contribute to sustainable fisheries management by promoting environmental conservation and efficient resource utilization. The results of this research and development are expected to have a significant impact on future fisheries policies and have garnered considerable attention from stakeholders.
